As Chief Medical Officer of Craft Concierge and Medical Director of Tulsa Accident Care Center, Dr. Steven Nussbaum brings over 36 years of emergency medicine expertise and healthcare leadership to Craft Health. His role encompasses overseeing clinical excellence, driving operational innovation, and ensuring that every patient receives high-quality, coordinated care across Craft Health’s growing network.

Dr. Nussbaum’s distinguished career spans diverse healthcare settings and leadership roles. He served as Emergency Department Medical Director at both Mercy Hospital and Mayes County Medical Center, where he achieved a remarkable 36% increase in emergency department volume through strategic improvements in care delivery and operational efficiency. His experience includes roles as an Attending Physician at Emergency Consultants, Inc., Clinical Physician at the Circulatory Center of Ohio, and Staff Physician at both Hillcrest Hospital South and SouthCrest Emergency Physicians. 

Dr. Nussbaum earned his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine from Oral Roberts University before completing his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. He completed his internship at Phoenix General Hospital and became Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Physician Specialists via the Practice Pathway in 1998.
